Inkreations Blog Hop – the new Occasions catalogue

INKreations Blog Hop-007

Happy New Year and welcome to the first Inkreations blog hop for 2016.  I hope you all had a wonderful festive season and spent some quality time with family and friends.  Hopefully you got a chance to recharge your batteries ready for a new year – and sneak in some crafting as well.

Today we are featuring some of our favourites from the new Occasions catalogue.  I say “some” because there are so many fantastic products its impossible to pick just one I like best.

For those of you arriving from LoveLifeLauren  how gorgeous were those cards.  I sooooo love stamp sets with coordinating punches.

So what did I choose – well I settled in the end for the Love Blossoms suite.  I figured with Valentines day almost upon us it would be the perfect opportunity to create for that special someone.

I love how easily the stamp set coordinates with the patterned paper but that’s not surprising it’s one of the things I love most about Stampin’ Up! products; matchy matchy!

So first up is the card featuring the main sentiment from the set.

Now I don;t mind fussy cutting but for those of you who hate it the Bloomin’ Heart thinlit die makes cutting those small flowers ever so easy.

The blushing bride ribbon is from the Love Blossoms embellishment kit and finishes off that empty space at the base of the card perfectly.

Next up is little box just big enough for a few chocolates – if you’re anything like me you made the annual resolution to eat less chocolate this year so this will work for you.

These self closing boxes are really popular right now, you’ll find them all over Pinterest.  A quick google search will bring up heaps of instructions so I won’t bore you with the details here.  The cute little hear under the “it’s in the air” banner features the gorgeous new blushing bride glimmer paper.  This is sure to be a favourite and should go straight on your wish list.

Thats’s it from me today.  I hope you’ve found a little inspiration in these projects but don’t stop here head on over to Inkreations – I know the lovely Liv Ingle has some great projects for you.

Don’t forget you can earn yourself free Saleabration product with every $90 spent until the end of March.  If you’d like your very own Occasions or Saleabration catalogue I’m happy to drop one in the post to you or alternatively you can view them online here.

The Inkreators Blog Hop presents Sale-a-bration

INKreations Blog Hop-006

Well it’s December and we’re on to our last hop for 2015.  I can’t believe we’re here already.  Christmas is just around the corner and I I’m embarrassed to say I haven’t even got the tree up yet.  But my cards are all ready to go – that’s probably why the tree’s still in it’s box (wink wink).

This month is a sneak peak at Sale-a-bration 2016 – Stampin’ Up!’s biggest and most popular promotion.  There are some fantastic products available this year which you can add to your collection for FREE when you spend just $90 on regular item.  Sale-A-Bration products will be available for customer purchase beginning Jan 5 2016.

So let’s move on and have a peak.  If you’ve started hopping here then welcome.  If you’re joining me from Love Life Lauren then you’ve already  seen her beautiful projects using the Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum Stack and the  Botanicals for You (141234-wood or 141237-clear) stamp set.

SNEAK PEAK

So many stamps to choose so little time, I definitely struggled.  I finally settled for the Hello (141240-wood or 141243-clear) stamp set.

I love the large bold hello font and how cute is that little party hat perched over the “e”.  There are 4 additional greeting stamps which make this a very versatile set for lots of occasions.

I’m sure you’ve all spied those balloons.  They feature the Perfectly Artistic (141021) designer series paper, another item available for FREE during Sale-A-Bration.

The new balloon punch will be available in the upcoming Occasions catalogue also live from 5 January 2016.  I’ll be showcasing some of those products over the next month.

This time I’ve swapped out the cute little party hat for the sun and paired it with the “little sunshine” greeting.  Again I’ve used the Perfectly Artistic (141021) paper but the reverse side which has a marbled effect.

Want a free copy of the Sale-A-Bration or Occasions catalogue?

Leave me a comment or email me and I’ll pop one in the post to you.  For my regular customers they are already ordered for you and should arrive by 5 January.

Well that’s it for my sneak peak today.  Head on over to Laura for some cute cards using the new Honeycomb Happiness stamp set (141288-wood or 141291-clear).

Don’t forget to pop back for some more sneak peaks from both the new Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogues over the next month.

Products from the both these catalogues will be available to order in my online store from 5 Jan 2016.

ESAD Sale-a-bration Blog Hop

ESAD Saleabration blog hop banner

Welcome to the ESAD 2014 Sale-a-bration Blog Hop.  Have you had a chance to look over the SAB catalogue yet, if not I suggest you do it before it goes live on Tuesday.  Don’t have one – contact me and I’ll pop one in the post for you.

Today I’m excited to be previewing some of the fabulous product you can earn free during Sale-a-bration. starting the end of January.

If you have been following the hop in order you will have come from Gail’s blog #23 on the ESAD Blog Hop.  If you get off track at any time you can see the full lineup at the end of this post.  Just click on the next link and you’ll be on your way again.

I have two projects to share with you today featuring the gorgeous Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper (133521) and the You’re Lovely (133575 wood & 133578 clear) stamp set.  The colours in this paper are fantastic, subtle and soft with a hint of black to make  them pop.  They coordinate beautifully with the stamps sets from the Sale-a-bration catalogue.

First up is a gift card holder which uses the pop’n’cut die as a base.

The gift card slots neatly into a secondary flap inside the card.

My second project is an envelope card.  I love the simplicity of a card and envelope all in one and the belly band holds it all together nicely for posting.  The cute little Banner punch (133519) also gets a guernsey here – it’s so easy to whip together a banner using patterned paper or pair it with the Banner Blast (133551 wood & 133554 clear) stamp set, also free during Sale-a-bration, for your own unique creation.

I'm Lovely envelope card

I apologise for the poor photography.  I was really struggling with these pictures but I’m not quite sure what the problem was.  This was the first project I’ve done since returning from my Christmas break so maybe I’m just a little “off my game”.  Hopefully it’s not a trend lol!

Make sure you head on over to the next blog on the hop and see what Sally has in store for you.  Thanks for visiting and I hope I see you again soon!

Supplies: If you don’t already have your own demonstrator, you can order any of the supplies used to make these projects through my online store.  Or if you’d like to host a party and earn yourself some freebies – who doesn’t love freebies right! – contact me and we’ll organise a date.
